inclusion in the 2008 American Alpine Journal. If we don't hear from you by
e-mail by December 2008 we can't augment your justifiable fame!

Informal "Climber's Nights" of no real organizational sponsorship.
Generally on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30p at a different house
in the Greater Boston area. Stand around, eat snacks, drink beer or wine
(BYOB), and tell lies. Meet climbers, endlessly discuss gear, find out about
trips, suffer through slide shows.

Kenneth Henderson
1905-2001
The memory of our own Kenneth Henderson, who died at ninety-six in
September, was celebrated in Lebanon Center, NH on October 13th. Ken was a
founding member of the Harvard Mountaineering Club and is perhaps best known
for his 1942 "Handbook of American Mountaineering". He was on the first
ascent of Mt. Owen, second highest in the Tetons, and first on the East Ridge
and Direct Exum routes on the Grand.
